NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WILMER, TEXAS TO CONSIDER THE ADVISABILITY OF THE CREATION OF REINVESTMENT ZONE NUMBER THREE, CITY OF WILMER, TEXAS FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PURPOSES PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 311, TEXAS TAX CODE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas (the “City”), pursuant to Chapter 311.003 Texas Tax Code, as amended, (the “Act”), will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Wilmer Community Center, 101 Davidson Plaza, Wilmer, Texas 75172, for the purpose of considering the creation of Reinvestment Zone Number Three, City of Wilmer, Texas, located within the City extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ).

All persons are invited to attend the hearing and speak for or against the creation of Reinvestment Zone Number Three, City of Wilmer, Texas, the proposed boundaries, or the concept of tax increment financing. 

Written or oral statements will be considered. The proposed boundaries include approximately 627 acres located within the ETJ, generally located south of Belt Line Road and west of Interstate 45. 

A more detailed legal description and boundary map of the proposed Reinvestment Zone Number Three, City of Wilmer, Texas, are on file and open for public inspection in the office of the City Secretary at City Hall, 128 N.
