FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than Books (December 7, 2023)
The holiday season is upon us! December is a busy month at the library, and we hope to share it with each of you.
Stop by the library’s booth at Feliz Navidad in Ferris, Saturday, Dec. 9. The event begins at 3 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m. Santa will be there for pictures, and please plan on staying for the parade of lights starting at 6:15 p.m., and the EDC fireworks show that is set to begin at 7 p.m.
On Tuesday, Dec. 12 we have adult and children’s holiday crafts planned.
And, Tuesday, Dec. 19 is Grinch Day at the library! More information to come or check our Facebook page.
Story Time is hosted every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Children are treated to stories, fun activities, and a snack. Before leaving, your child may choose a prize from the Treasure Chest to take home.
After-School Game Time is held each Thursday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Children can play the PS5 on the large screen in the meeting room, board games are also available.

Answer: Believe it or not, Christmas, Florida, Santa Claus, Georgia, and Mistletoe, Kentucky are all real towns!
