PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION and CITY COUNCIL

City of Wilmer, Texas

In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas will conduct public hearing to discuss and consider an ordinance to amend the Chapter 14A, the Zoning Ordinance, section 20A “SCHEDULE OF PERMITTED USES (USE TABLES)” E. “USE TABLES”, subsection (11) “Table 11 Commercial and Wholesale Uses” by adding “Data Centers” to said list of uses in said use chart by Conditional Use Permit in the C-2 zoning district contained in said Use Chart to require a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) in the General Commercial (C2) District, and to amend the Chapter 14A, the Zoning Ordinance, section 20A “SCHEDULE OF PERMITTED USES (USE TABLES)” E. “USE TABLES”, subsection (12) “Table 12 Light Industrial and Manufacturing Uses” by adding “Data Centers” to said list of uses in said use chart by Conditional Use Permit in the L-1 zoning district contained in said Use Chart to require a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) in the Light Industrial (L1) District; City of Wilmer, Dallas County, Texas.

The first public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this Zoning Ordinance amendment request will be held before the Wilmer Planning & Zoning Commission on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.

The second public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on a Zoning Ordinance amendment request will be held before the Wilmer City Council on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.
