Early voting turnout less than in 2020

ELLIS COUNTY – In a comparison of early voting numbers from 2020 and currently in 2024 for in-person voting, there are roughly 600 less compared to this time during early voting in 2020.
“However, we do have 26,000 additional registered voters now then in 2020,” Jana Onyon, Ellis County Elections Administrator said.
“We are expecting a high turnout 15,000 to 18,000 on election day and we are ready for it.”
Early voting ends Friday, March 1.
