PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL CITY OF FERRIS, TEXAS
In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Ferris, Texas will hold a joint public hearing to consider a rezoning request initiated by the City of Ferris Economic Development Corporation (EDC) to rezone property from Single-Family Residential District (R-2) to Corridor Commercial District (C-C).
The subject property is located at 612 and 616 E 8th Street, City of Ferris, Ellis County, Texas and is further described as 0.83 acres of land located in the Mason Phelps Survey, Abstract number 824, ECAD Properties #194063 and #188800.
The joint public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this rezoning request will be held before the Ferris Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Ferris Public Library, located at 301 E 10th Street in Ferris, Texas 75125.
All persons interested in the proposed rezoning request are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide their comments at that time.
