FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than Books (May 23, 2024)
The Republican Party Primary Runoff Election will take place at the Ferris Public Library on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. All eligible registered voters in Ellis County, Texas, may vote at any of the election day voting centers located in Ellis County.
In observance of Memorial Day, the Ferris Public Library will be closed Monday, May 27, 2024.
As we remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country while serving in the United States Armed Forces, please stay safe.
Story Time is hosted every Wednesday from 10:30 – 11 a.m. Children are treated to stories, fun activities, and a snack. Before leaving, your child may choose a prize from the treasure chest.
After-School Game Time is held each Thursday from 3:30 – 5 p.m. Children can play the PS5 on the large screen in the meeting room and board games are also available.
WORD OF THE WEEK: “Plethora” (noun) – an excess amount of something; A plethora of books have been written about the royal family.
