Ennis PD needs help identifying car theft suspect

ENNIS – Ennis Police posted on Facebook page they need help identifying a suspect. 

Ennis police indicted on May 30 at around 5:15 a.m. “an unidentified individual entered a 2023 Kia Sorento parked in the 1600 Block of Matthew Drive in the Christian Meadows Addition.”

Police said there have been continual issues in this area regarding vehicle thefts and burglaries. 

One resident responded asking when Ennis Police would begin patrolling the neighborhood stated “this has been an ongoing issue in the area for the past year including bike theft, property destruction and children shooting people with BB guns.”

Another resident stated Ennis PD has yet to do anything to address the crime and break-ins “that are impacting the neighborhood.”
