Ferris ISD announces free summer food program

Ferris ISD announces the 20th consecutive year in sponsoring the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided at the sites listed.

Lunch and breakfast will be provided FREE to all children who are eighteen (18) and under.

 

FERRIS JR. HIGH SCHOOL

Monday-Thursday, June 3-30, 2024

Breakfast: 7:10-8:30 am

Lunch: 10:30 am-12:30 pm

 

Lunches served will meet the USDA Nutrition Guide for one-third of the minimum daily requirements and breakfast will meet one-fourth minimum daily requirements for children.

All children age 18-years-old and under are invited to come eat with us. There are no tickets and no forms to fill out. Everyone over 18 – lunch costs $5.00. We look forward to seeing you here.

Children DO NOT have to be enrolled in Summer School to eat with us.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form can be obtained online at: www.ascr.usda.gov/sites/default/files/USDA-OASCR%20P-Complaint-Form-0508... from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. 

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. 

The completed AD_3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by Mail:
