PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
of the PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
and CITY COUNCIL,
City of Ferris, Texas
In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Ferris, Texas will hold a joint public hearing to consider the following items:
1) Conduct a public hearing and make a recommendation to City Council on a request by VIMO Casa, LLC, for a rezoning from Single Family Residential (R-1) District to a Planned Development (PD) District with a base zoning of Residential Townhome (R-T) District for property located at 101 W FM 664, Ferris Texas 75125, further described as a 13.7-acre tract within the Mason Phelps Survey, Abstract Number 824, ECAD Property #188942 City of Ferris, Ellis County, Texas.
2) Conduct a public hearing and take action on a request by VIMO Casa, LLC, for a rezoning from Single Family Residential (R-1) District to a Planned Development (PD) District with a base zoning of Residential Townhome (R-T) District for property located at 101 W FM 664, Ferris Texas 75125, further described as a 13.7-acre tract within the Mason Phelps Survey, Abstract Number 824, ECAD Property #188942 City of Ferris, Ellis County, Texas.
The joint public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this rezoning request will be held before the Ferris Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Historic Scout House, located at 514 South Mable Street in Ferris, Texas 75125.
All persons interested in the proposed rezoning request are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide their comments at that time.
