Akemi Mii of Midlothian earned a Doctor of Philosophy from the Office of Graduate Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Local students graduating from the University of Texas at Tyler on August 17 included: Daryl Hogan, Kennedy McHorse and Sharla Nowels of Midlothian; Diamond Collier and Grant Hoggard of Red Oak; and Sarah Nichols and Misty Colvard of Waxahachie.
Peyton Sparkman of Ennis, and Stephen George, Nicholas Harp and Victoria Mays of Midlothian received degrees during the 2024 Summer semester at Sam Houston State University.
