CITY OF OVILLA REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Proposal Number 2024-01 Independent Financial Audit Services

The City of Ovilla, Texas is soliciting requests for proposals (RFP) from qualified firms or individuals of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements. It is anticipated that the term of the audit agreement will be for a period of three (3) years with two (2) optional years to extend. The audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted accounting auditing standards. There is no expressed or implied obligation for the City to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing or submitting responses to the RFP.

During the evaluation process, the City reserves the right, where it may serve the City’s best interest, to request additional information or clarifications from proposers, or to allow corrections of errors or omissions. The City reserves the right to retain all submittals and to use any information in a submittal regardless of whether that submittal is selected.

Proposals should be delivered in person or by mail to the following office by 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2024: City Manager, City of Ovilla, 105 S. Cockrell Hill Road, Ovilla Texas 75154. No submittals will be accepted after 2:00 p.m. Late submittals will be returned, unopened, to the submitter.

Upon consideration of the submittals, the City of Ovilla reserves the right to accept or to reject any and all submittals, to waive technicalities, require a best and final offer from any or all proposers and to conduct any investigation deemed necessary concerning the submitter’s qualifications to provide the services covered by the specifications.
