DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: They wouldn’t do that – oh right, I was censured last week – yes, they would!

The real threat to our democracy lies in misinformation

For my readers who do not follow me on social media, you’ll be interested to know my column last week about the election was censured on Facebook.

I couldn’t post it.

So much for freedom of speech/press.

And geez, I thought last week’s column was one of my NICER opinion pieces.

If you’re reading this in the newspaper or on the newspaper’s website, it will be the day after the election in which case, we probably still won’t know who won.

Even so, I’d still like to make a few election comments.

And yes, I voted incredibly early and it was seamless.

I want to reiterate Kentucky Senator Rand Paul’s statement, “We should never forget the Constitution was not written to restrain citizen’s behavior. It was written to restrain the government’s behavior.”

This has certainly been the strangest election ever. I wonder if she (as in Kamala) dreams about him (as in Trump) at night because I’ve lost count how many times she’s said his name during her waking hours when asked about HER OWN policies.

I still don’t know her policies – not a clue.

And Joe Joe – boy, did he put his foot in it when he said the quiet part out loud: “the only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”

Then Karine Jean-Pierre denied he said it.

I will say Trump and his supporters (including a good portion of the American people from all backgrounds, religions, political parties, ethnic groups) do have a good sense of humor. I mean the trash comment gave a lot of people a clever idea for their last minute Halloween costume.

Americans must keep their humor – if nothing else, laughter and love is the only way we’re going to get through this as a Republic.

And when Trump came rolling in to his rally riding a trash truck the day after Joe Joe’s remark, I mean, even I was LOL.

I know Roe vs. Wade has been a big blue marker for the voter. I want to remind people the states decide that point overall – not federal. So, you might want to make some more intimate decisions on a state level if you are worried about pro-choice. I will say – I am pro-choice and believe all women have the right to decide about their bodies.

But it won’t be Kamala saving your abortion rights if you still haven’t made up your mind by the ninth month (www.npr.org/2022/06/29/1108251712/roe-v-wade-abortion-ruling-state-constitutions). It’s more about the state – there is no “uniform federal law.”

Remember when the journalist exposed Planned Parenthood selling aborted baby body parts.

“Former California Attorney General Kamala Harris concocted this bogus, biased prosecution with her Planned Parenthood backers against undercover video reporting, and now their case is falling apart as the facts about Planned Parenthood’s criminal organ trafficking are revealed in the courtroom,” – the judge dropped the charges (www.westernjournal.com/judge-drops-5-felony-charges-journalist-exposed-planned-parenthood-baby-body-parts-case).

I love it when blue people say vote for a woman – yet the blue people seem to be struggling to define the definition of “woman” these days.

I do not believe in government overreach. Remember if a government decides to overreach on one issue you agree with – the next overreach might be one you do not agree with – it goes both ways.

No, you cannot legislate morality – but at some point, common sense must kick in!

Speaking of common sense, one of my highlights last week was the Amish deciding to vote.

They never vote. One person said, “How bad does an administration have to be to make the Amish come out just to vote in order to go back to their peaceful life.”

I’m not sure if it was the first time in history they have participated, but it isn’t the norm. Nor were the Trump flags blowing in the wind from their horse buggies.

Keep North Carolina in mind too since this might not be trending on mainstream.

Last week, groups of Amish men traveled to North Carolina to build tiny homes for the victims of Hurricane Helene, taking up the slack because FEMA dropped it.

And, while I doubt it’s a felony that Kamala went on SNL this past weekend – it was a faux pas.

Why her handlers thought it was a good idea, since it broke FCC rules?

The Hollywood Reporter said “FCC Commissioner Claims Kamala Harris’ ‘SNL’ Appearance Violated Equal Time Rule.”

Of course, Lorne Michaels said neither candidate would appear on SNL because of that law.

You can’t believe anything anymore. Wonder if there was a payout?

Another big question – why did it take 20-plus years to arrest PDiddy with plenty of women speaking out (the list is apparently hidden until after the elections – wonder why?).

And Beyonce – so worried about women at the blue rally in Houston. Why didn’t she speak up during the unthinkable things happening at the Diddy parties?

If you’re not familiar with Ally Carter, make it a point – she is naming names that were a part of her nightmare, and it includes politicians and actors – household names.

And the State of New York can waste taxpayer’s dollars on 12 DEC officers raiding a person’s home for five hours to arrest a squirrel and raccoon. And then euthanize them while illegals sexually assault women while in that state and the country (with veterans still homeless in NY).

I even saw one unhinged woman write on social media,  “The Maga squirrel had to die.”

Anyone have any idea why 60 Minutes won’t release the transcript of Kamala’s interview?

It included mention of Netanyahu as a tease for the show, but when the interview aired there were different answers.

Hiding something 60 Minutes?

I’ll say it louder so the back of the room can hear – I THOUGHT Dems were against war?

CNN tells the story of the blue insanity reporting Kamala is running completely different ads on the war in Gaza depending on the state. In Michigan, it’s all about pushing for a ceasefire. In Pennsylvania, she is promoting her support for Israel.

There was also Washington Post columnist Hugh Hewitt who quit his job live on the air when he told the truth and said Bucks County, Pennsylvania was instructed by the court to open polling extra days due to their shenanigans.

Moderator Jonathan Capeheart from legacy media was (it sounded like) denying voting issues.

Hewitt said, “We have to bring up the whole story if we bring up part of the story, and Trump won in court.”

Capeheart got into his feels and said he didn’t appreciate being lectured about reporting and Hewitt said, “I won’t come back, I’m done. This is the most unfair election AD I have ever been a part of.”

And Hewitt left.

How many other journalists have the nerve?

My red flags are high however, since Hewitt called the newscast an AD – was he saying the quiet part aloud?

One man noted last week, “Donald Trump was the president four years and he is not the one who weaponized our justice department to go after people.

“He is not the one who had the IRS go after reporters or censure political speech in this country.”

As for Trump’s antics, I am not sure where to go with that … we will keep repeating felon since that is the battle cry, and womanizer (Clinton comes to mind), and he hates women and he is a fascist, etc. … lots of name calling, see you on the playground.

How was your life four years ago as compared to now? That’s why all the blue people I know have decided to go ahead and bleed red this week.

And as for any upcoming fraud, the last time I checked both sides of the aisle have the right to contest anything they want including an election.

After all, it’s still a free country, right?
