DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: Divide and conquer and we all lose, what is a Republic to do?

The real threat to our democracy lies in misinformation

The election has come and gone.

Lives have been changed. Friendships and families lost. I was feeling the same air of despair as when COVID divided our nation – we will see.

I have friends on both sides of the aisle and sometimes I don’t agree with either of them.

In our country today it seems we’re as divided as we were before the election in a different, more dangerous way.

I’m not going to get caught up in the quagmire from anyone who thinks they have the right to throw out hate – that’s not my vibe.

All I can say for sure is I’m watching in shock as the divide in this country has grown disturbing and a large group of people have decided they are going to migrate elsewhere so as not to have to be under Trump as POTUS.

I was listening to CNN, FOX News (all owned by Black Rock and Vanguard as top shareholders) and other talk show hosts who were saying Trump won the presidency through a social media push that the Democrats basically didn’t realize was a “thing.”

It was also pointed out this was much because mainstream media had a different agenda and were not reporting all the facts from the red side of the aisle. So, red took it elsewhere.

I guess social media won – note to whoever runs in four years, keep that in mind.

Trump won the election with final numbers at 312 electoral votes to Kamala’s 226 (www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/who-was-the-presidential-election-s-popular-vote-winner-here-s-where-the-vote-count-stands/ar-AA1tQVIZ?ocid=BingNewsSerp) noting “Trump’s victory was largely aided by capturing swing states that were previously won by President Joe Biden in 2020, including Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan.”

The vote according to NBC News was Trump, 74,672,841 votes, to Harris, 71,144,667.

I do know from real people saying real things on social media that much of that Pennsylvania win was due to the 180,000 Amish votes.

Many of those votes were attributed to first-time voters due to a certain Amos Miller Organic Milk Farm raided by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. It was a private membership food co-op in Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania and the raid happened this past January regarding their selling raw milk.

Whatever the case (nypost.com/2024/11/05/us-news/amish-turn-out-for-pennsylvania-vote-in-unprecedented-numbers-source), the Amish did turn out last week with a nod toward Trump.

Now, some extreme Democrats have taken to social media to get their point across, not only unraveling on camera with screams and tantrums, but introducing the 4B movement (started in 2019 in South Korea).

I’m not sure they understand what they’re doing as they shave their heads on camera, swear off heterosexual relationships, having children and staying married to men.

I am all about speaking your mind, but there are many sick women (will mainstream media report this accurately) heartbroken by this slap in the face to cancer patients, for example, who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy.

One woman personally told me, “I have been fighting Hodgkins Lymphoma for almost four years and I am just getting my hair back.” Now she said she must wear her wig not to be associated with this movement.

I think the shaving of the head is also in rebellion to abortion rights, but once again I’m going to repeat this for those not listening the first time and YES, I am pro-choice; it is a state issue, not federal. The Democrats have no ability to save abortion rights and Republicans do not have the ability to take them away.

This issue was on the ballot in 10 states last week; Florida and South Dakota failed to approve, Nebraska won with restrictions, and Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, and New York all approved.

Tell me again why people think they lost their abortion rights in the USA?

There is also a new one MATGA – Make Aqua Tofana Great Again. I have heard women talking about – a bit unhinged. It goes like this: Your Body My Choice,

I have a feeling the police may have to get involved at some point since Aqua Tofana is a poison that women are suggesting be used on their “men.”

I’m sure this is not being reported YET on mainstream media.

At the very least for Americans staying in the USA (I assume the celebrities are packing now to leave along with those who don’t feel comfortable under Trump), the Smith-Mundt Act of 1948 that Obama flipped in 2012 – let’s get that back in place so media will have to answer to their propaganda once and for all.

Journalists have the power of the pen and ability to spread a message.

And, they sometimes lie.

Remember NBC News anchor Brian Williams caught lying about being in a helicopter shot down during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, or Fox News host Bill O’Reilly who told tall tales about being in an active war zone he survived in Argentina during the Falklands war.

I’m sure Jill’s bright red pantsuit was a slap in the face to the blue voters too, and Joe Joe’s speech acknowledging Trump’s win was literally the most coherent I’ve seen him in years.

Whoever the president – it is definitely time the American people understand the funding of the Military Industrial Complex, the government’s black budget and wars, lobbyists paying politicians to vote a certain way, the Epstein and PDiddy lists, 350,000 missing children and the young girls sexually assaulted by illegals. These are bipartisan issues.

As for Trump’s new team, it’s a diverse crew.

Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are former Democrats.

VP JD Vance’s wife is an Indian woman, so we can’t say he’s racist, (the irony Kamala is Indian – the first Indian senator in California).

And there is another Indian – Vivek Ramaswamy – and rumors of Elon Musk.

Of course, Susie Wiles, who has worked on many Republican campaigns including Trump’s 2016/2024 run, will be the first female chief-of-staff in American history.

She was connected to the private sector as a lobbyist, for both Ballard Partners, with clients Amazon, Google, and the MLB (Major League Baseball), and Mercury, which works with Elon Musk’s SpaceX and the Embassy of Qatar.

If you know me, you know what I think about lobbyists.

There has certainly been enough hate. I am sure you heard about the FEMA supervisor, Marn’i Washington who was fired because she was telling relief workers during Hurricane Milton to “avoid homes advertising Trump.”

Big wigs are leaving their jobs too, just like the celebs getting out of town. Moderna’s CEO Stephane Bancel just resigned.

DNC Political strategist Lisa Li spoke on Fox this past week and said the Harris campaign was a $1 billion disaster.

She raised millions of that money and said she has friends she is accountable to because she was promised Harris would win.

Li said, “Even on the night of the election, I asked if we were going to do this – and they said yes.”

She asked, “Are you privy to numbers I am not seeing?” She said she was not seeing “any basis for that level of confidence.”

Does the majority of Americans believe we are following our Constitution?

Some have said we need to rewrite it. Why not just follow it?

This is for certain: the ego fights, the soul loves. If we don’t understand that, we won’t make it.

How about less one-sided dialogue with people who only agree with each other and more two-sided discussions with people who have done their research, aren’t name calling, and have something to add to the other side of the discussion?

A heart-driven discussion versus an ego-driven tirade.

I hope for the sake of the United States people have not gotten so caught up in being right they have forfeited being correct.
