FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than Books (November 21, 2024)
National Game and Puzzle Week is a celebration of games and puzzles spanning Thanksgiving week. It’s the perfect time to bring out board games and jigsaw puzzles and try something new.
This week is a time to encourage families to spend more time together during the holidays. Some ways to celebrate include playing games, setting up a tournament with family and friends, challenging siblings and cousins to a game of cards or board games, or working together on jigsaw puzzles.
Join us on Monday, Nov. 25 from 2 – 3 p.m. for a Thanksgiving themed children’s craft then stay afterward for a showing of “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving”. Popcorn and drinks will be provided.
STORY TIME is hosted every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Children are treated to stories, fun activities, and a snack. Before leaving, your child may choose a prize from the treasure chest to take home.
AFTER-SCHOOL GAME TIME is held each Thursday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Children can play the PS5 on the large screen in the meeting room, board games are also available.
