OBITIUARY: Aurora “Lola” Perez

On Wednesday April 7, 202! we lost a shining star; Lola, a mother, sister, aunt, and beloved friend. Lola has rejoined our Lord God and her father Esteban, mother Guadalupe, brothers Julian and Gilbert and sister Bernice.

Aurora "Lola" Perez was born to Esteban and Guadalupe Paulino. She had eight siblings and was raised in Crystal City, Texas. She met the love of her life, Juan Perez in Texas and was married Dec. 28, 1974. In 1975 their only daughter, Martha, was born. They moved to Sidney, Montana when Martha was under two-years-old.

They made a life there and in 2004 they moved to Spearfish, SD where they helped raise their two grandchildren. Lola worked at Walmart as a door greeter where she met a lot of people.

She was a very happy, loud, lovable person and people insist they often went to Walmart just to say "hi" to Lola.

Lola's favorite words were "Hello" and "Missy", which she included in every conversation.

She will be missed dearly by her husband, Juan Perez of Spearfish, SD; daughter Martha Taragan, Spearfish, SD; grandchildren Jasmine Taragan and Michael Gonzalez, Spearfish, SD. Sibling  Rachel Paulino, Carrizo Springe, TX; Egfer Amaga, Ferric, TX; Julian Paulino, Corrigan, TX; Rebecca Paulino San Antonio, TX; Alicia Garcia, Carrizo Spring, TX; Jesse Paulino, Carrizo Spring, TX

A memorial service was held at Countryside Church on April 17, 2021

She will be forever loved and deeply missed by her friends and family. her smiling face will always be remembered.
