OBITUARY: Bettye Bennett Lutrick

Bettye Bennett Lutrick was greeted by her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

Born Nov. 2, 1939, daughter of the late Charles and Sara Bennett. Her siblings, Reba, Wanda, Charles, Kenneth, and grandson Trey Lutrick also preceded her in death.

Bettye is survived by her husband Don Lutrick, Sr. of 67 years, their children Donnie (Joette) Lutrick, Karen Lutrick, David (Glory) Lutrick, and Elisabeth (Josh) Philbrick, their 12 grandchildren, their 11 great grandchildren, her siblings Diane (John) Gibson, John Bennett, Jennie (Nalton) Jannise, and 13 nieces and nephews.

She was a Crusader for Christ, second Mom for some, and a dear friend to many.

Family acknowledges a special ‘thank you’ to Kathy and our Michelle for their dedication and devotion to Bettye’s care.

Visitation services will be held at Smith Funeral Home, Little Rock location on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024, 12:30-2:30 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Cemetery, Alexander Arkansas.
