OBITUARY: Nancy Ann Glaspy Weldon

Nancy Ann Glaspy Weldon, 78, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019, in Ennis, Texas.

Born Aug. 15, 1941, in Dallas, to J. Roy and Mary Ann (Maroney) Glaspy. Raised in Ennis, and graduated Texas Tech in 1963. Married Don Weldon of Lubbock June 14, 1964. They made their home in Dallas, moved to Ennis in 1980, and lived briefly in New York City.

She reared 4 children, enjoyed horses, dogs, dancing, playing tennis and bridge. Much of her time was spent teaching, doing volunteer work and being with family and friends.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Don; son, Chad and his wife, Robin; daughters, Debra, Rebecca, and Kristi and her husband, Brandon Carlson; also, eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, and a brother and wife, Jerry and Betty Glaspy, and a sister-in-law, Sugar Glaspy. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bill Glaspy.

Memorial services will be Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Following the service, there will be visitation time.
