DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: The truth can topple a mountain of lies

I read something recently, a quote from a man named Delamer Duverus.

I researched him and found he was affiliated with a weekly newspaper The Seligman Sunbeam in the Ozark Mountains in Seligman, Missouri. 

I did not read about his character, and am not heralding his excellence.

However, this little piece of writing accredited to him is worth a thought. 

“One basic truth can be used as a foundation for a mountain of lies, and if we dig down deep enough in the mountain of lies, and bring out that truth, to set it on top of the mountain of lies; the entire mountain of lies will crumble under the weight of that one truth, a there is nothing more devastating to a structure of lies than the revelation of the truth upon which the structure of lies was built, because the shock waves of the revelation of the truth reverberate, and continue to reverberate throughout the Earth for generations to follow, awakening even those people who had no desire to be awakened to the truth.”

I realize much of what people are seeing these days once was deemed mere lies, are now turning out to be truths. 

In fact, truths thrown in the face of the American people at a rapid speed. 

Truths many are fearful of believing because they will have to do something about it.

Many in the United States are saying, “We have been attempting to open the eyes of the people in the world for centuries about the atrocities, lies and unsavory leaders who are drunk on power, no one would listen.”

In fact, these people were named conspiracy theorists (a title some say was coined by the CIA in the 1960s, to assure those trying to share the truth were shunned).

Hello 2024 – because navigating the year just now into March seems surreal, doesn’t it? 

And complaining seems useless and tiresome.

So, what to do instead? Well, shedding light on news that is not making it to mainstream media is one answer. 

That, and sharing news that does make it to mainstream media with the properly researched message.

In all, the light of the truth really began shining when the COVID mess began. It just keeps shining brighter and brighter. At this point all I can say is cover your eyes and do your research.

And as for the rapid fire chess moves coming from the players who are passing laws in the dark of  night, chatting overtime with lobbyists, sending trillions of dollars to foreign countries while Americans are hurting, making decisions to take rights away based on fear of not being re- elected, and allowing millions into the country illegally, well the gig is almost up. 

That is as soon as enough Americans wake up and realize change is the only answer.

Remember, no matter the side of the aisle you are sitting on now, if something happens to a neighbor and is not happening to you yet, give it a day. Have compassion accordingly.

In the “you can’t be serious” category, here we go:

“Trending this week is what is called the Demon Face Syndrome. According to news sources including www.independent.co.uk/news/long_reads/world/demon-face-images-rare-neurological-disorder-b2517177 this syndrome is called Prosopometamorphopsia (PMO) and is an extremely rare visual disease that “alters the sufferers perception.” 

The New York Post had something to say about it (nypost.com/2024/03/22/lifestyle/rare-demon-face-syndrome-causes-people-to-see-evil-faces): “Visions vary depending on the person – specifically regarding eye shape, size, color, and position of facial features – and PMO can last for days, weeks or even years.” 

So, people are seeing demons, and it is their fault? Really, well I am not buying into it. 

Not anymore than I was buying into the normalizing of myocarditis in young people after the COVID vaccine push.

“The Laken Riley Bill HB 7511 (the nursing student in Georgia who was brutally killed by an illegal) to require the Secretary of Homeland Security to take into custody aliens charged in the US with theft and for other purposes did not pass. 

There were 170 house Democrats who voted against the bill refusing to require the detention and deportation of illegal immigrants who have been caught committing a crime aka murder.

Did you know last week illegals rushed the border in El Paso according to nypost.com/2024/03/24/opinion/100-migrants-brazenly-rushed-the-el-paso-border-crossing-letters and Reuters reported illegals are tearing down the fences. Is this an act of war? 

Oh right, we are spread too thin in foreign countries to be able to take care of our own.

Marjorie Taylor Greene filed a motion on March 22 for Speaker of the House Mike Johnson to vacate his seat. 

She said, “We need to find a speaker who is going to lead our house in Republican values.” 

What passed was a $1.2 trillion spending package, the second part of an omnibus bill that was New York Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer’s baby. 

Keep in mind it was 1,000-page bill dropped at 2:30 a.m., according to one Republican member of the house who reported Nancy Pelosi said, “You have to pass it to read it.” 

US Representative from Texas Chip Roy said, “The swamp is back in full force… filled with all manners of spending that are at odds with the American people.”

Wyoming Representative Harriet Hageman said this appropriations bill should have been split into six bills and not received a day before it was to be passed.

Did you know the Department of Justice has launched the National Resource Center to “Aid authorities in taking firearms from people deemed a threat to themselves or others?” (www.justice.gov/opa/pr/justice-department-launches-national-extreme-risk-protection-order-resource-center).

But who is the one doing the deeming?

Called the Red Flag Law – the US Vice President announced it and RINO Republicans joined with the Dems to take away more of American’s rights. 

One man said, “This is how it starts. This is how tyranny is solidified and a dictatorship established. This is how government disarms its population, when the President of the United States utilizes the Department of Justice and the Judicial Branch of government to rule who is a threat to its own existence.”

And does anyone watch documentaries anymore? You should because there are people out there risking their lives to expose heinous things that are being done. 

USA Today reports on a serious investigation discovery in “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids’ TV” where former child actors allege a variety of abuses and toxic behavior on the sets of classic Nickelodeon children’s TV shows. 

From “All That” and “The Amanda Show” to “Drake & Josh” and “Victorious” – claims of racism and bullying in the workplace are revealed as well as horrifying accounts of alleged sexual assaults.

This month, in Chicago, an Obama-appointed U.S. District Court Judge Sharon Coleman dropped firearm possession charges against illegal Heriberto Carbajal-Flores. 

Quiz: the constitution does or does not apply to illegals? NOT.

And the Kellogg’s’ boycott. Turns out people do not want to eat rainbow colored cereal for dinner (particularly cereal like Frosted Flakes and Rice Krispies already banned in other countries). They also do not want wealthy CEO’s (Gary Pilnick) of said cereal company suggesting they should eat rainbow colored cereal and the like.

April 1 is the official boycott Kellogg’s Day on TikTok – are you beginning to understand the knowledge is power idea behind why the government really wants to get rid of the app. 

It might actually be an innovative idea to boycott the company that owns Kellogg’s too – Vanguard and BlackRock; two of the five top shareholders.
