Friends, family and co-workers gathered March 3 at 11 a.m. at the 300 block of Donna Drive in Ferris to honor the memory of Jerry Watson by dedicating a memorial park in his name.
FERRIS – The Ferris ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously earlier this month to name a new superintendent to fill the district’s recent vacancy.

FERRIS – Dedication ceremonies for the new Jerry Watson Memorial Park will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 3 at Shaw Creek Park.
OVILLA – Two key players retired from the city of Ovilla in early February – City Manager Pam Woodall and Finance Director Sharon Jungman.
Both retired from full-time work on Feb. 3.
